 breaking the fourth wall is the technical term when actors or characters in a media product are aware they are in the media product or when they engage with the audience. We don't typically see this in music videos so we wanted to implement this into our music video. Inspiration:

 Today we experimented with different type of lighting and how we can use the camera with it. Here are some behind the scenes.

 The weeknd's music video I feel it coming  The Weeknd - I Feel It Coming ft. Daft Punk (Official Video) - YouTube is different form traditional music videos and instead of going for quality it goes back in time to give the video a retro 80's type of style. Although we won't fully invest in this type of style most of our shots will be similar to this music video (Film Damage, Pink color grading, Grains, etc)
