Course Work: Disintegration

 One of the shots we have pre planned will be the disintegration effect which we will add to the project so we practiced the effect on after effects on a short clip of our media studies teacher.

Here are the screenshots of our after effects project file, we used relatively the same settings, we masked out our sir because we did not have a green screen footage and then we  added a picture background and applied the effect ( shatter effect) to get our desired project.


Overall we are happy with the outcome, we think we can definitely add this to our final project video but alot of things needs improvement.

Post Production: Editing Main Dancing Scene

 This is the shot of the actor dancing. Not much VFX was needed,  we added the following effects: Lumetri color, GlowEdges, Emboss, GlowRings and Shake. we tweaked the settings of each effect to our liking and here are some before and after of the same shot.
